Purebred Livestock

It has been said by many successful auctioneers that two types of auctions produce some of the best ringmen in the auction industry. One of those is the Purebred Livestock Auction.

PRI founder Brian Rigby began his auction career in 1979 working the ring for Registered Quarter Horse Auctions while serving as Associate Director of Advertising for the Quarter Horse Journal, then located in downtown Amarillo, Texas.

There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of Purebred Livestock Auctions held each year and those auctions, whether Horses, Cattle, Goats, Sheep, Hogs or any derivative thereof, all use the services of Professional Ringmen. Many times, as many six or more Ringmen may be working with their auction team at any one time. You can see that effective COMMUNICATION is imperative.

At the Professional Ringmen's Institute, students learn the effective communication skills required to serve effectively and efficiently with any Auctioneer for any type of Auction anywhere in the world.
